Llandaff Fields is a large parkland spanning parts of Central and northern Cardiff and the subject site is situated on the west bank of the River Taff, stretching from the city centre out to the west of Llandaff.  The fields currently provide open park land, cricket pitches and padel / tennis courts.

Smash Padel opened in August 2025 and has rapidly established itself as the leading destination for padel in Cardiff. The facility comprises six canopy covered panoramic padel courts together with a modern clubhouse and café.  The award-winning operator is currently achieving over 90% court occupancy, creating a vibrant destination that has become the heart of Cardiff’s growing padel community.  The venue has already hosted Britain’s largest International Padel Federation (FIP) Global Junior Tournament and delivers a packed programme of coaching, leagues, social events and corporate functions, generating consistent footfall throughout the week.

The former pavilion has been comprehensively refurbished to provide staff facilities, changing accommodation and a fully fitted coffee shop/bar. This
presents an excellent opportunity for an operator to partner with Smash Padel in delivering a complementary food and beverage offering to members, visitors and spectators.

The coffee shop / bar extends to approximately 882 sq ft (82 sq m) and benefits from an external seating area overlooking both the tennis and padel courts, creating an attractive environment for customers throughout the day.

The property will be available by way of a rent to be agreed plus profit share.  Alcohol licence will be essential.  Hours of operation in line with Smash Padel’s trading – 8.00 am-22.00 pm.
